Flowers of friendship scissors fob (#15)
Flowers of Friendship is the acompanying scissors fob for the scissors pouch. It is stitched on 36 count antique white Edinburgh
and uses the same DMC colors. The verse on the back is stitch over one with half crosses only and reads: Flowers of friendship
florish in kindheartedness. From the stitching basket of XXX to XXX 2001. Later this year a needleroll will be released
that is also part of the Friendship serie.
Rosebuds of Friendship Scissors Pouch (#16)
Rosebuds of Friendship is scissors pouch with enough room for the scissors, a fob and some skeins of floss. The verse on the
back reads: Rosebuds of Friendship blossom unexpectedly! The design uses DMC floss and antique white Belfast as well as 1
yard of ribbon. The way the ribbons are woven through the fabric enables the stitcher to close and open it easily.
Done over One: Autumn Alphabet (#17)
Autumn Alphabet is a small alphabet that uses one color of Silk īn Colors (Scarlet Honey) on 32 count light sand Belfast.
Itīs a fun and quick project and can be framed or finished into a needlebook or scissors fob. Mine is framed and the instructions
included in the chart are for framing. Of course this design can be stitched over two as well.
Christmas Reindeer Sampler
This sampler is a square design and the verse reads: "I will hold Christmas in my heart and share my joy with you, AJK
2001". The leaflet will provide an alphabet for stitchers to personalize their project. I used sand Edinburgh for this
one, though it could also be stitched on Belfast if stitchers would prefer a slightly lower count. Threads used are Weeks Dye
Works Garnet, Amber, Kudzu, Chestnut, Hazelnut and Onyx. I used one strand of floss.
Christmas ornament 2001
The Christmas ornament of this year features a different reindeer with a Christmastree and two birds. I used Light Sand
Cashel for the ornament and the exact same Weeks Dye Works (except for Hazelnut as it isnīt used in the pattern). The
finishing is done by stitching the pattern on a piece of felt with a blanket stitch.
Done over one: Winter Alphabet
This is the second desingin the Done Over One series, Winter Alphabet. I used antique white Belfast and Winter Sky Silk īn
Colors. The alphabet I designed is more winterlike, no curls just straight "harsh" letters, as winter can be. The
design is also very suitable for finishing as a scissor fob.
Sampler Sewing Case (#22)
This sampler sewing case is the perfect place to keep your scissors, needlebook, measuring tape, anything you think might
be useful for your stitching projects. It features two peacocks around an urn with flowers. Specialty stitches used are Rhodes
and satin stitches.
The case is stitched on 32 count Lambswool linen with Splendor Silks from Rainbow Gallery as well as a Silk 'n Color
handdyed silk from the Thread Gatherer. Instructions for finishing are included in this 8 page leaflet.
